SIONYX NIGHTWAVE |
|
|
|
The Nightwave is an ultra low-light camera built around SIONYX's patented Black Silicon CMOS sensor. With flexible mounting options and easy setup, Nightwave can seamlessly integrate with major brand MFDs via the analogue video output, displaying clear colour digital night vision.
Designed to give both professional mariners and everyday boaties the ability to spot hazards and debris in moonless starlight without white light or expensive thermal cameras. The Nightwave will help mariners in boats small and large to navigate safely, avoiding collisions, and maximising time on the water. With IP67 rating, you can feel safe knowing that your camera can get wet.
With the SIONYX Nightwave, you will be able to spot a man-sized object from 150m away*. The 44° field of view increases situational awareness so you can spot unexpected markers, vessels, land formations and more. IP67 rated, submersible to 1 metre for 30 minutes, you can safely use Nightwave in inclement weather conditions.
• Can detect (man) sized objects up to 150m with a 1/4 moon*.

SPECIFICATIONS (Click Part No. for More Details / Guides / Documents) |
Part No. | 970100 | Weight | 870g | Colour | White | Volts (V) | 12V DC / USB 5V | Dimensions (H x Dia.) | 152mm x 127mm | Unit Qty | 1 | Note | Sam Allen Wholesale recommends installing a switch in series with the Nightwave and (supplied) 2A fuse.
The Nightwave requires a clean, stable source of DC voltage.
Clean, stable DC power means the line voltage should ideally be free of voltage drops and high frequency noise - which can be common when batteries are charging, or as other electrical loads come on-line after a master switch is thrown.
The addition of a switch will enable you to start up the vessel and other marine electronics, and a few seconds later, turn on the Nightwave after your vessel’s DC line voltage has stabilised. As well as isolating the Nightwave from start-up noise, this switch will also enable you to reboot the camera if required. |
